Last year, when Christina Aguilera and Rihanna perform on the same night, the X Factor fans shocked at the performance shown by both star. Both stars wore costumes that are lewd even for a reality TV show.
ITV stood by and defended the show. However, the new judge Gary Barlow admitted that the performance was too much.
The appearance of Rihanna and Christina Aguilerra referred to as disgusting by thousands of the reality show fans. Despite complaints coming from 4,500 fans, Offcom claims that the show not seen by the whole family of America since the show broadcasted before 9 p.m.
However, according to the new judge of X Factor, Gary Barlow, he had watched the show last year and he was watching with his ten year old kid during that time. He added that Christina Aguilera was just too much even for a judge like him.
Spectators had already seen one contestant call a judge as a ‘bitch’. As well as a teenager exposing his tattooed bottom, and a woman being sick into a bag before performing an erotic routine.
Contestant George Gerasimou, the guy who got kicked out during his first auditioned in 2009 because he had an attitude. He loses his temper after he did not get chosen by the judges. Now, she insults Judge Contostavlos for saying the first thing that she thinks about the teenager. Contostavlos says that the kid can not sing.
The contestant called Contostavlos as a scumbag from the block, which got lucky to replace Cheryl Cole.
Her female friend joined him as they shouted at the audience. The two got escorted off the stage.
Take That star Barlow also confessed that he was against the rise in the number of ‘ridiculous’ novelty contestants on the show.
In the preceding years, acts such as Jedward and Wagner have stayed in the competition. Some people think that the show already fixed.
In an interview held at Wembley Arena, Barlow said that the TV companies always want the ridiculous acts. This year, he is hoping that they can resist as many as possible.
Barlow insisted that with the money made by Sony Music since the show started. The show can reinvest on something worthwhile performances to watch.
Barlow also added that the how had probably financed ten credible acts’ careers. Though, the network does not want to admit it.
He added that the show needed stuff like those.
If the show is to go down, then most of the companies would be crying that they never had a chance to advertise at the show.
